blog-gibsons-lodging-power-boat-showThe 45th Edition of the U.S.Powerboat Show will roar into Annapolis from Thursday, October 13 to Sunday, October 16, 2016. Every October power boating fans nationwide meet at the historic seaport of Annapolis to check out new entries from more than 40 major powerboat manufacturers. Attendees inspect powerboats at the Demo Dock and then relax with drinks on the Pussers Painkiller Party Barge. This is the world’s longest running in-water powerboat show, and it is the finest venue to buy supplies, navigation gear, fishing equipment, clothing, and marine accessories.

VIP Preview Day – October 13, 2016

The opening day allows serious boaters to get the first jump on specials. Preview Day is considered the most advantageous day to purchase powerboats. It is also the best time to chat with exhibitors because it is a unique chance to view and compare the newest and premiering models. Attendees will be able to meet representatives of manufacturers and boat brokers.

Docks will be filled with luxury yachts as well as trawlers, along with high-performance powerboats and offshore fishing boats. Powerboats from 8 feet to 80 feet will be displayed. The collection will also include inflatable boats, express cruisers, ski boats, paddleboards, trailer powerboats, pontoons, and a wide collection of center console fishing boats.

On-Land Exhibitors

The U.S. Powerboat Show always has state-of-the-art equipment navigation, electronics, and accessories, as well as boating gear and clothing. Related maritime services, including charter companies, boating clubs, insurance firms, and lending institutions, will also be present.

Cruisers University

The event will also offer boating classes. New for Fall 2016 will be the Offshore Cruising Seminar by John and Amanda Neal. Students will receive an education on all that will be needed for living aboard a boat. Graduates will be able to plan cruises, equip and maintain their boats, and feel confident going out to sea.
